It's very annoying. All those crazy people frantically trying to make their lame sites popular by using the most sneaky, obnoxious and unexpected techniques! They should all go hide in a dark basement and never so much as touch a computer again.

It certainly isn't a compliment which anyone should feel proud of giving or receiving.

Spammers seriously need to find some other way to advertise for their site, such as putting some time and effort into making it better.
