Wow, I used to live in California but recently moved to Washington, too!

I should probably listen to that song again. I kind of liked it, and it's summery sort of song. Washington is so wet.

Southern or Northern WA?

I lived in the San Fransisco area and it was foggy and chilly a lot...But it got pretty hot during the summer.

I can imagine it. I used to hate the song Fireworks, but it was on the radio so much I learned to tolerate it and even learned some of the words.

So, let me get this straight... California's the one where LA is, isn't it? Hm. Interesting learning about US weather. I already know Michigan is permanently covered in cloud. What else?

That song is really funny. A firework is a large flash of bright light that dazzles people for a few seconds and then disappears. Valued only for their beauty. ...Way to encourage impressionable teens, Katy!

Northern sort of, I think. A wet part, anyway.

They have great summer weather in California. Except when there's a heat wave, of course.

I'm at the very southern area, right across the river from Portland, Oregon.

Yup. It's nice and mild in the bay area, usually in the 70's or 80's if there's no nasty heat wave. Don't get me wrong though, the northwest has those nasty things too.

Which reminds me, why does everyone who hasn't learned much about CA suppose it's tropical everywhere? It's not Florida.
