it was surprizing, but not scary. the police had him in custody by the time i realized what had happened;

we just pulled up to the library when an african american guy with what looked like a sock in his mouth ran right by the car. me and my sis thought nothing of it so we went out to return the books when a man told us to get back in the car. we did, then we saw like, 20 police officers and 2 guys in handcuffs, one being the guy who just ran by the car
