Well, I'm glad you got out of it... strange that a TV show would help, though.

Correct, depressed. I tried to cut a few times.

Indeed.

i was suicidally depressed, then in got banned after talking to much about it and stuff which knocked some sence into me

Wow, how is that?

Seriously, pom pom.

Okay. *deep breath* I wasn't really into anime before this.
Back when I was suicidally depressed, about a year ago or something, when I wasn't doing tons of chores (This was when Dad was deathly ill and incredibly brain damaged), school, or crying my eyes out, I was on this website called TVTropes. It chronicles various cliches and recurring themes in media. So anyway, I was surfing the pages, reading up because I had nothing to do, and I kept seeing sections written about this one show called Axis Powers Hetalia. Clicking on it, I find that it's a show with anthropomorphic personifications of various countries. "Sounds interesting..." I mutter.

A week or so later, it's really late and I can't sleep. Then, I get an idea. "Hey... Let me look up that show." So I did. And it was the funniest and most offensive (But I didn't care about that part) thing I'd ever seen. Honestly, it was the first time I had laughed in months. And... This is going to sound shallow, but one character, Alfred, was incredibly cute and adorable. Around that time, I decided, "If I'm going to make it through, I'm going to need his help." Really, he was the first person I loved, had a crush on.

As such, seeing as how it got me out of my depression, I've loved it ever since. I've also gotten incredibly attached to fictional characters, sometimes more so than living people. After Hetalia, I found out about Touhou, and it just snowballed from there into the happy-go-lucky, cheerful, polite Ec_Prokta you know today.

Wow, what a story... I'm so glad you're out of depression!

And, ya, I get really attached to fictional characters too.

No. Like I said, it was a really weird coincidence. I named the duck, and THEN I met the human Cassie. It was weird.

>.> And Jessie?

I wasn't the one who named Jessie.

Wait, what? Now I'm confused. We don't know any humans named Jessie.
