Jim Morrison was a famous rock star/poet in the sixties, a very good one. He was also quite the drug addict, and in Amsterdam they're completely legal. So when the two are combined, BOOM!

It turns out he actually went to Amsterdam for a concert when touring with another band. He was so high he began to dance insanely onstage when the other band played, and couldn't go on with his.

Wow, that must've been hilarious to see, in a sad way of course. Too bad he had to live a life of drugs

I know.

He actually seemed really cool, despite what a lot of people supposed he was. (Insane; which wasn't nessacarily true. He was just eccentric and too smart for most people.)

He died really early, unfortunately. At age 27...

Apparentley he had heart issues towards the end, and the water in his bathtub shocked him. No one is quite sure though, there wasn't an autopsy.

Dunno. Probably not to draw a lot of attention, he didn't really like a lot of attention or to be famous or a sex symbol. His girlfriend made sure to have him buried as silently as possible, so fans wouldn't disturb the whole thing. It's what he would have wanted...It's sad though, today he is the 3rd most visited thing in Paris AND his grave is completely dismantled.
