Hey, Zinnia, eaten any salmon recently?
tongue.png

As of this month, no. Why?
tongue.png

It just popped into my mind, is all
lol.png

What kinds of fish HAVE you eaten?
Me, myself, I've just had a feast of eel two days ago.

I've eaten a bunch.

Halibut, Salmon, Trout, Perch, Cod, Snapper, Catfish, and so on. Yum!

I love eel!
love.gif
We have a sushi roll here called the Oregon Roll, and it has a whole bunch in it. Mmmm.

Nah! jus a tiny bit of swelling, itching and a little pain at first..... Rubbing sugar on a wasp sting will mostly neutralize the poison and then a couple of drops of P73 oregano oil will help with the quick healing. I should know, i've been stung at least a half a dozen different times by wasps.
caf.gif

Thats just about the only thing i hate about bees... They leave their poison sacs there.

I just wish the bees and even the wasps would come back
sad.png
.... i can't remember the last time i've seen a honeybee... even if i did it would be probably a couple of years ago.
sad.png

Ich habe zuruckgekommt....
Yes, I have finished one of the replies!
woot.gif
My head is spinning. Three more to go
tongue.png

You seem to know a lot about all these natural cures. I guess it comes from living in the country, you gotta fend for yourself, huh? I heard something about dock leaves on nettle stings will neutralise the acid... gee, I used to be a chemistry nerd. I hate chemistry now
lol.png

Do wasps not leave poison sacs then? Where does their poison come from?

We get a lot of honeybees around the place. You'll see them on the flowers in spring, but most of the rest of the year it's blowflies. Blowflies without end, I want to smack their little multiple-lens eyes!!

English?

Quicker now!
tongue.png

*Grumbles* It's not as if there's no pharmacy down a road or several doctors in town either. Dock? You mean Burdock? hmm, i'll try that, we've got nettles in the Bamboo grove. :kif I wish they would propagate. ( both, bamboo and nettles.) I hear nettles are good boiled.
droolin.gif

No, they inject the poison and buzz about, if you don't run away, you'll get another sting. They have, poison sacs, they just aren't barbed at the tip, so the stinger comes out of the sting and doesn't stay there after stinging.

Blowflies?
idunno.gif
There haven't been honeybees in ages around here.

Fish girl! All I've had is the eel! I swear, I have never even eaten half of those things: halibut, perch, I don't even know what those are
lol.png

I guess you don't get a lot of stuff that cheaply over here, we get a lot of ocean fish like bass and other things like that. I miss trout! I haven't eaten trout in years...
droolin.gif

Eel is great, I know! My dad cooks it in a way that makes the meat easy to get off the bones. Very flavoursome, especially when the skin goes crispy
droolin.gif

I'm not a big fan of sushi. I only eat it if Sushi King is the only shop open, and I am hungry
lol.png

We have truckloads more.

You should see a stergeon, they can live up to about 80 years and live at the bottoms of our rivers. Taste good too.
We have bass too. Salmon live out in the ocean too, and come up to the river to breed and what-not. They're weird like that.

Yum...Eeeeeelllllll.
droolin.gif

We have a bunch of good sushi restaurants up here, mainly because of the surplus of fresh seafood.

C'mon, ich habe zuruckgekommt is one of the easiest sentences I can think of!
No, I'm procrastinating again. The talk on these threads had been moving too fast for me to settle down and reply to a novel-length email. Me and my UK pal could probably publish several volumes with our banter
gig.gif

Ooh! I thought you lived in the middle of nowhere!
celebrate.gif
That's always good to hear about the doctors, you've gotta have some of those.
Dock leaves, it said in my chemistry book. I think it's a kind of herb, but don't trust me, because I know hardly anything about plants, despite my RP character being called Vegetatus
lol.png

Fantastic.
hide.gif
Now I am going to be scared of wasps for the rest of my life
lol.png

Most people I know already are. When an insect enters the classroom... hoo boy, you're going to know about it. "ARGH!" screams the first person. "ARGH!" scream the second, third, and fourth people simultaneously. "ARGH!" etc. etc. etc.

ep.gif
SPOCKETATUS! You know not what a blowfly is? Have you been living under a rock? Actually, I wish I lived under a rock, you sure wouldn't get so many of the darned things down there...
gig.gif

Honeybees are so cute, they add so much atmosphere...

Anyhow, I REALLY, REALLY need to start replying. You guys are not helping

80 years? A fish? Gee, someone should've gifted me one when I was born, to see which lives longer
lau.gif

Could we have some photos of these fish? I love pretty fish
droolin.gif
but I am trying not to get too off-track : as you can probably see from what I'm telling Spock, I'm meant to be replying to two emails.
he.gif

YES! Eel!! I've never had it in a sushi before though. I usually stick with a safe option when I do have it, like tuna and cucumber, one of my favourites. Tuna, that's another thing we got too much of down here

Well it's just about the hardest i can think of!
Ahhh, what you need to do is do one or the other. Like procrastinate on BYC.

I DO NOT LIVE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE! (i wish i did!)
Dock, okay.
caf.gif
It's always good to have leaves so that the boats can go somewhere.

Wut? Wasps aren't half as bad as bees.... That is if you have the proper medical equipment.
I feel like saying something....
hmm.png

Well i could have known it, but never knew it's name. Besides, i don't live in AU anyway.
caf.gif

Yeah.
love.gif

Well here is one more post!
