Here I thought I was talking about him too much!

No offense meant, of course. Yes, I do indeed have a boyfriend that I talk with on the Megaman X9 forums. He's adorably sweet, even though he's typically your average sarcastic gamer.

The fire... Hoo boy. There have been 3 fires in total I can think up of: The Las Conchas fire, the Los Alamos fire, and the Bosque fire, if I remember correctly. More details in another post.

So, it's just the Las Conchas fire that is near Los Alamos. I was thinking of the fire on I-25 and Boulevard in Albuquerque that happened Tuesday. Said Las Conchas fire is the largest wildfire in New Mexico's history, being over 100,000 acres. Evacuations are present for people in Los Alamos. The fire is 4% contained. Honestly, I'm worried about the canyons near Los Alamos. When the atomic bomb was first tested, the waste materials were all dumped into the canyons because people didn't know much about those materials. My aunt mentioned that the fire might let the radiation back into the air, which is definitely not a good thing. Special equipment has been brought in for the situation, even.

The fire in the Bosque, which is an area above Albuquerque but below Santa Fe, was set by a teenager on purpose. It is fully contained and burned only 2 acres.

Wow, that's a lot of fires. I guess the US can get more hazardous than I originally thought...

I suppose you've heard about the fires around Austalia, especially the Victorian disaster in 2009? Fires are pretty bad, they do terrible things

Oh yes, I remember that disaster... It was all over the news back then.
