I don't get it.

You'd have to watch the series to get it. Either way, that particular scene left a huge impact on me because I saw a fair amount of myself in Sayaka, and she was a great character.

Ec- I don't quite get it, but it's still sad

Nix- I know how you feel about your hair, but mine is just really, really hard to tame and certain shampoos don't seem to help me with it

Indeed. And the scene after... Really, the whole series, starting with episode 6, is incredibly sad. But enough about that series! I like your new avatar. Did you draw it yourself?
