Its been pretty cold today, but not cold enough for snow!

Missouri, even in the middle of wintertime, doesn't get that much snow. Maybe a few flurries every once and a while, but nothing that "sticks" as my mother calls it.

I suppose that's good, as I'm not sure what we'd do with the chickens.

The only time it's ever dropped that low here, was a few years ago when we had this horrible Ice storm. We lost power in our house for almost two weeks. We lost it on a Saturday, like, near Midnight because I remember it being pitch black in our house. Then, the next Saturday, out power came on.

I liked watching the Snow plows go down the road somedays, the snow would go flying out to the sides because they went at very fast speeds.

It was the most entertaining thing ever.

Yeah, I would laugh hysterically for several minutes before trying to find something else to do.

Sadly, we don't get that kind of snow anymore.

We get dead grass and near freezing temps, but noooo, we can't have snow! Seriously!

It's pretty ugly.
