She snapped her head up, wreching Ashlyn's grip free so when she reareed up on her her hind legs Ashlyn slid off. Saphira turned with a snarl and grabbed Ashlyn's paw, wrenching it out from under her.

With a surprised yelp, Ashlyn slid onto her back, kicking out with her hind legs at Saphira's face and scoring deep gashes right under her left eye.

Stella padded stiffly from the trees, a rabbit hanging limply from her jaws. "Dogs" She spat, disgusted "The last thing we need around here"

"Dog or not, he needed care," she muttered, fangs touching just below her black lips as she spoke, her face contemplative and completely unreadable, subtle indignation lacing her tone. "Let's get back and leave these dogs to their business... whatever it is that they do." With that, she flicked her tail to beckon Stella as she trailed off.

Zolo burst from some hidden spot and rushed to the side of the dog. He gently grabbed a hold of his ruff and began slowly dragging the poor creature back into his own territory, where he laid him under a sheltering willow beside a fast-moving stream. He disappeared for a moment before returning, one paw wrapped up in cobwebs. He pressed them gently onto the many gashes and cuts littering the dog's body. As the bleeding subsided, he coaxed a few poppy seeds into his mouth, massaging his throat to help them on down. They would help with the pain. After removing the cobwebs, he began washing the dried blood away. He laid the dog on a cushioned pile of fresh leaves and stood by, waiting for him to awaken.

A cough racked the dog's body, his muscles tensing with pain. He awoke with a start, breathing rapid, ruckling breaths, and he drew back. His eyes darted about and he failed to utter anything more than gasps, clueless as to his whereabouts.

"Rest" Zolo snapped. He pushed the dog back down onto the leaves. "Your in the territory of the dog pack" he told him.

A pup peered from behind some bushes. Two others popped their heads out to look. They began whispering to themselves.

I know it won't kill him, it would be breaking the rules that I created.

She snarled and ripped her neck from his jaws, flipping him over on his back just in time for Russel to burry his teeth in his throat and Ashlyn to rip her teeth into his belly. They were fighting as a Pack, like wolves do.

Right here Pekin

Stella growled, her fur bristling angrily and her eyes narrow. She turned and followed Eudora after a moments hesitation, knowing that she was the alpha-female.
