She crawled towards him, her tail wagging, and licked some dirt from his face. " South, far South." she replied​

His gray eyes flashed furiously, glinting fiercely under the dim ribbons of moonlight that lay on his body in hues of nacreous, silvery blue. With a swift, fluid swipe of his paw, he streaked clawmarks across Jake's cheek.
