Shadeheart slunk backwards a little. She knew Jace, he was the leader of SnowPack. And she was trespassing. The fur along her back prickled defensively. If her paw hadn't been hurt, she would've run by now.
"My name is Shadeheart. As to what I am doing here, that is my own business." she replied.

"I did not say that, I only asked why you were here. It is my job to protect all members of my Pack, until I know your business here you are considered, and will be treated as a threat."
Shadeheart nodded slowly. "I am here because I have nowhere else to go. I have some rather... touchy enemies."
