Once they got back to camp, Falcon when straight to Jace "They have Crane!"

"How? She was coming back here!"

"I seen her from Sky Rock, they have her in their territory. They're killing her!"

Crane collapsed onto her belly from the weight, and found herself held down by many wves, unable to move. Her tongue lolled out of her mouth from exhaustion as she panted, trying to catch her breath and summon energy to fight back.

With a yowl of triumph, Lady sank her claws into Crane's back, ripping a gash all the way to her tail. The rest howled and began doing the same.

Wren chewed worriedly upon a deep carcass, her worry about the wolves of Snowpack growing.

(I have no idea what to do with Nightingale..can she still go after Crane?)

Crane wondered what they would do: either kill her or take her back to their camp. Neither was desirable, although the latter meant she kept her life.

Zelda wondered who Crane was.
