Lark ruffled her fur and laid her head on her paws.

Fox dug a big hole for were she would have her future pups,she let out a howl and dug deeper,to were it was a large hole and was very warm inside.
She dragged some moss and bedding from nearby,and made a nest to were she would sleep and lay.
The hole she had dug was on a large hill,she dug holes on the side more that made tunnels and windows too.
Then she got some sticks and began to wove them in the windows to were you could not get in from there.
Then she placed some ferns at the entrance so it was hidden and kept drafts from coming in.
She then went back out and got more bedding and some more herbs for when she pupped.
She gathered many herbs in different piles,she was a expert medicine wolf,but was a pup mother now,who had pups for the pack,so the pack would be strong.
She nodded at her work,clearly pleased and got some more bedding and layed it throughout the whole tunnel of holes.

She howled once more and went into her tunnel of holes and went deep back,and went into the warmest and sweet smelling den in the tunnels she made. She had 2 Rabbits dangling from her mouth and dropped them in a pile were she kept her fresh-kill. She was going into labor now,the father was Bear,and she had some contractions and soon gave birth. She gave birth to 2 pups.1 a Male and 1 a female,the male was bigger than his sister and fairly muscular even though he was just born. He was pure black,looking like his father,and was very spunky even though his eyes were closed. His sister was small and fragile,and was cuddled close up to her mothers belly swollen with milk,the hollow smelled of milk and was very warm. The little girl looked exactly like her mother,she looked like a Fox! She had black paws,and black ear tips and a long snout and a busky tail with a white tip on the end. ANd her main coat was red,she was very beautiful like her mother and was very small,but would be very strong and careful when she grew! Fox licked her pups and nudged them over to her belly and they began to nurse,and kneaded on their mothers belly like kittens. She smiled and fell into a dreamless sleep.​

The worm split in two and the two began wriggling in opposite directions, screaming for their mommies.

Fox sat in her paw-made hollw in the ground, which smelled of milk and was very warm inside. She awoke from her slumber and looked around lazily, she yawned. She looked down at her now slimmer belly, and saw her two pups. The one male and the one female. She smiled and bent her head down and licked their soft little heads and howled softly.

Fox got up and grabbed her male pup by the scruff and brought him to the otherside of the hollow den and dropped him softly an slowly. She then looked at her female pup sleeping heavily and nodded to herself. Then she loooked to her male pup and surveyed him closely. She was trying to figure out a name for him. She nodded and a large wide smile spread across her red face "Gator" she smiled and took him back to his sister.

Then she brang her female pup to the same side she had just brang her male pup to, and dropped her softly and slowly. She licked her girl pups head and it whimpered a bit and then lay still, it's side moving up and down slowly. Fox smiled and looked at her girl pup closely.

She was now trying to find out a name for her now. She smiled and nodded "Toma" she smiled and grabbed her pup now, and dropped him on the other side of the hollow, were her bedding lay with her male pup already in it. She smiled and curled herself around her pups, they began to nurse.
