Darkclaw leaped up a tree on the opposite side of a bird. Once he was above it he made a flying leap, catching it as he fell and pinning it to the ground. He killed it quickly, before lifting his nose again to smell for more prey. He quickly buried the wren. He was oblivious to Sun and Fernpelt's predicament.
