Yawning, Sunpaw paded softly over to the apprentices den and curled up in an empty nest.

Sunpaw awoke and stretched happily. She looked around for her mentor. Not seeing her Sunpaw padded off into the forest to find breakfast.

A gray Tom cat watched from in the shade of a bush.

Tigerpaw lay in the sun on a soft, lush patch of grass, purring quietly as the suns warms rays beat down on her coat of shiny brown and spots. She stretched out of her legs, and yawned, smacking her lips and opening one of her light brown eyes.

The Tom stepped forward, fixing Tigerpaw in his warm gaze. " Hello there" he said in his deep, rich voice.

"Hello." She said in a very warm, feminine voice. She stood up, and stretch her dainty paws, yawning from her long nap. "Who are you?"

" DarkClaw is my name. But Who I am is a mystery to you.... " he said, meeting her eyes with his green ones and smiling.

Sunpaw was quietly stalking a bird. This was her 3rd try at catching something, she was a whole lot better at catching fish. Startled the bird suddenly flew away. She sighed, this was gonna be harded than she thought. She had even twitched! She sat up and quietly slipped into the bushes. It was Tigerpaw and and a strange tom. He seemed vaguely familiar. She didn't think he was from Riverclan, but she seemed to remember him from somewhere. Hmmm, she would have to think on it. She quietly padded away to look for another mouse.
