There was a low, coughing hiss as LostCry crouched low in the boughs of an overhead tree. Her lip was curled in a snarl as her green eyes flicked urgently to DarkClaw, unsure.

He charged at her shoulder, knocking her onto her belly. He scraped his claws down her belly before poising one above her throat.

Willowpaw froze, deathly still, eyes locked on that claw.
