(Rex just took the short cut to the present thats all(Oh, nvm)
)He looked up from toying with the bed adjustment controls, "Hey, bud." Gage said, flashing a grin. A nurse had come and removed the tubes from his arms a hour or so ago, but apparently had no need of the machine they had been attached to. This had also been fun to play with. That is, until he had knocked it over. There was a small puddle on the floor from that, but otherwise no evidence because he's super sneaky.Rex found Gage's room finally. As he walked in, he knocked on the door lightly, not sure if Gage would be a sleep or not.

"Hey, turn the lights on will you?"
The wingless wingman thought for a moment, blinking in the hospital's overzealous lights. "Well. You know how a fish looks when it's been dead and frozen for a few days and then you unthaw it? Yeah. I kinda feel like that."Rex walked into the room & turned the lights on. "How are you feeling?" Rex asked. He knew what the answer probably was, but wanted to be polite. He stood a few feet a way from Gage's bed.
