*Unsuccessfully attempts to drag Fanci back here to RP Gage.* she did give me some info on what the melty chemical was though and i'm gonna have to say that what ever Mapleshade had, wasn't it. In any way shape or form. It's something completely different. She also gave me a truly horrific direction to take this. I don't think I could do it though.

What Maple had was not exactly the 'melty chemical'. It was something Silver made, and from what I understood, akin to the original chemical, but not quite. What Silver made was a catalyst originally created to destroy the Inhuman qualities of someone, but not kill them. When she realized/learned that it would kill most, if not all, Inhumans, she destroyed it's power by using the crystals, and it instead targeted metal. I'm not quite sure what exactly the original chemical was, or what it did, but this is just what I know of what happened with Silver's catalyst.
