~°~ The Unsafe World - A Werewolf Role Play ~°~

"I know, I'm confused as well." Damian replied, wiping his eyes from exhaustion.
"But I have a question to ask. Have you seen this anywhere or what it means?" he asked, extending the wrist that he had the sun mark on–outward as he had his elbow on the table. "Someone or something gave it to me some time ago when I was in the woods" he added.

--

When Judith finally reached her pack hideout, she went up to her room and just collapsed onto her bed without changing out of her outfit, "Alex. You're so...weird." She muttered into her pillow as she fell asleep.

--

Stephen had no clue on what to do, as stared at Amber helplessly he used the light from his cellphone to see if Nora was truly dead. Once the light panned on her body, he had already seen enough, there was a hole in her chest where her heart could've been. 'D-Did a werewolf do this...? he thought in complete shock. He glanced over at Amber, "P-Please. Get inside while I call the paramedics" he begged.
--
Tate looked at the ground as Eaton repeated her words, 'Hm. Sounds like she's choosing people of pure heart.. Or something stupidly cliche like that' he thought to himself. After a few moments of silence he spoke,"Seems like you finished the job with that 'Nora' woman... Return the file to Caleb when you get back to the hideout."
He then turned around to leave, feeling the need that he had discussed everything he had to and didn't feel like he had to stay any longer. Some of the pack members were out tracking the Oracle, they knew that Alex and Judith had met up with it, which didn't seem too good. Tate just had to get back to the hideout himself to update the list of people that she had 'Chosen' and probably put Eaton on watch to see if he would betray them and join up with the Oracle. And even if he didn't, it was just a precaution.

Paiden sighed, looking at the mark. "I... I don't think I've seen it anywhere before. But, it has a familiar feel to it."
He got up and disappeared into another room, returning a few minutes later with an old, and very large, book. He flicked through the pages as he placed it onto the table in front of Damian. "You said someone gave it to you? Well, this is the closest I could find - but it looks barely like it, and it's only inherited through a curse."
Paiden shrugged. "Maybe it's something new... Let me know if you start feeling sick or something."

"Hey stranger," Melody called out as Alex passed by her.
He turned to face her, "Melody?"
She took a few light steps forward and smiled up at him. "Hey Alex, how have you been? It's been a while."
He gave her a quick hug. "I've been well, how about you?"
"I've been so-so," she replied, with a little giggle. She glanced down at her watch. "Ah, I have to go... Maybe we can catch up sometime?" She reached into her pocket and took out a pen, quickly scribbling a number down on Alex's hand. "That's my number, so call me."
She gave an innocent smile, then headed down the street, turning a corner.
Alex felt his heart beat fast. He shook his head, clearing his mind, before entering the Conall building.

---

Amber looked up at him, gritting her teeth as the rage grew inside her. "Paramedics?! You idiot! What are they going to think when they see this?! "Oh look, a werewolf torn out her heart." Totally believeable, right?!"
She wiped a tear away and tried to calm herself down. "We need to.. to bury her.. And... clean this up."
Tears fell faster than before, as the reality had finally hit her - her mother was dead.

Damian froze up to the option, "No it's not a curse. But I guess I'll tell you if I'm feeling ill" he replied, putting his arm back to his side. 'I wonder if Tara's feeling alright' he wondered as he remembered her odd behavior when they came in, making him feel a bit worried.

--

Stephen's eyes widened, "Jeez sorry, I'm only trying to help." He frowned, "I don't usually run into dead bodies in alleyways.." He muttered underneath his breath. "Maybe I can get a shovel from my uncles truck...?" he offered Amber. He couldn't bare to look at the body, he stood in a awkward position, trying not to look. All that ran through his head was that he couldn't believe that the infamous Nora Hallwood was dead. She was one of the many hunters he looked up to ever since he became one.

Eaton said nothing, just watched Tate turn and leave. Tate knew more then he was letting on. But it wasn't his place to ask questions. He slipped on the wet shirt and did as instructed. He headed back to the place he'd stashed the file and went to the pack hideout. Eaton sighed softly as he thought about what this new development ment. If he'd missed his guess, it didn't bode well either way. Because he had the distinct impression, he was now stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Paiden gave Damiam a worried look, before closing the book up and taking it back to the dusty bookshelf it belonged on.
He came back into the kitchen, scratching his arm. "I'm going to go check on Peter and Tara... Wait here, okay?"

---

Amber clenched her fists tightly as she tried to stop the tears. She stood up and gave a quick nod. "Yes... please get the shovel.. I'll start cleaning up.."
She kept herself up, using the wall as an anchor.

Eaton went to Caleb's door and knocked softly. As he waited for an answer, Eaton looked down at the file in his hand and focused on Nora's name. That's when it all came full circle. He had no reason to live anymore, his reasons were now over. Perhaps Caleb will put him out of his misery for failing him earlier. He never forgot or forgave a grievance, there was still hope of that outcome. He longed to be with his beloved once again.

Damian glanced at Paiden and gave him a short nod, "Okay." He replied. As he sat at the table, he didn't realize how late it was until he saw a clock on the wall, '3:46 AM' it read. Damian gave a small chuckle to himself, remembering a time when he was in high school and Hunter broke into his house just so that they could get something to eat late at night.

The door nearly broke as Hunter tried to open it, since Damian's door was a 'push' not 'pull' type of door.
Damian slept peacefully under his covers, as he just finished one of the books from his favorite author.
Once Hunter figured out the door, he turned on the lights and ran over to Damian, grabbing him by the shoulders and shaking him frantically to wake him.
"DAMIAN WAKE YOUR LAZY BUTT UP RIGHT NOW!!" Hunter yelled, not caring if it woke up Damian's aunt and cousin.
Damian's eyes opened slightly, feeling his body being viciously shaken.
Hunter frowned, seeing that Damian wasn't fully awake, he set him down and slapped him across the face.
Damian nearly went back to sleep, but jumped up after being hit. He growled and brought his hand up to his face where'd he been hit, "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" he shouted in anger, his face throbbing.
"Shhhh.. Your family is still asleep, bring your voice down, and sorry for hitting you, you wouldn't wake up" Hunter whispered.
Damian stared at him in disbelief, 'You were only yelling a few moments ago..' he thought, but gave up since he didn't feeling like arguing with Hunter. "What are you doing here anyways? It's only.."
He glanced at the digital clock on his table, reading '3:50AM'
"3:50AM" he finished, glancing back at Hunter. 'Wait.. 3:50AM?!' he then glanced back at the clock in awe, "Hunter. How did you get in." Damian asked seriously.
"Your aunt always leaves the back door open." He replied with a proud look on his face.
Damian gave a heavy sigh and rubbed his tired eyes, 'Of course she does.'
"Listen I'm really hungry, and I need you to come with me!"
"Why me? Plus it could be dangerous out there, didn't you hear about the werewolf attacks in the nearby town?"
"Yeah yeah, but this is FOOD we're talking about, FOOD, Damian. You don't want your best friend dying of starvation do you?"
Damian groaned, "Fine." he said, getting out of bed, not noticing how bad his bed hair was.
"Okay let's go" Hunter grinned and headed towards the door.
"W-wait, I'm not even dressed." Damian stuttered, looking down at his pajamas.
Hunter stared at him, "Who cares, just put on shoes. Plus.. Damian.. You're seventeen.. You shouldn't be wearing pajamas." he said, holding in his laughter.
Damian frowned, "Shut-up" he muttered, grabbing his shoes and socks.

--
Stephen nodded, pretending to be strong, he felt like crying himself, but he didn't want to sob right in front of Amber. He jogged out to the side of the road where his uncles truck was and jumped into the bed of the truck. He nearly cut himself with the unset bear traps, but he was alright. When he spotted the shovel, he grabbed it and threw it over the side of the truck. He hopped off and retrieved it, then jogged back over to Amber.

--

Tate didn't return to his pack's hideout, he laid on top of an abandoned building, looking up at the sky and waiting for the sun to rise.

--
Judith, without even knowing was sprawled out on her bed, she had kicked off her heels as she shifted around in the bed. Her lipstick had smeared on her pillow and her blonde hair created static, making it stick to the pillow. But it seemed that she was sleeping well since she was snoring loudly.

Eaton went to Caleb's door and knocked softly. As he waited for an answer, Eaton looked down at the file in his hand and focused on Nora's name. That's when it all came full circle. Caleb heard the knock from his bedroom. He was putting on his suit and tie, getting ready for the day, even if the sun hadn't even risen yet. "Come in" he shouted from his bedroom as he fixed his tie and entered his office.

Paiden raced to Tara's room, hoping to talk with them both.
Peter was sitting, cross-legged, in front of Tara's door, waiting for her to come out or reply. "Tara, please?"
Paiden stopped running when he saw his brother. "Anything?"
Peter shook his head. "What about Damian? Anything?"

On the other side of the door, Tara had walked a little closer, so she could listen to the twins' conversation.

"Well," Paiden said worriedly, "he has a mark on his arm.. It looks like a curse mark. He could be dangerous. Who knows, maybe that's why Tate just let him go like that?"
"They just let him go?!" Peter questioned.
Paiden nodded. "But, I think he said he got the mark after then, so I'm not sure."
Peter bit his lip. "Do you think Tara knew he was cursed?"
Paiden shook his head, "I don't think so. She knows better than to lead danger here, especially after... Tate..."
Peter nodded. "So, what do we do now?"
"We should take turns keeping an eye on him, just in case." Paiden sighed.

Tara covered her mouth, silently eavesdropping on the twins. He's cursed? She scrunched her face up with anger.

Peter looked towards Tara's door. "What about her?"
Paiden shrugged. "Let her rest, I guess?"
Peter stood up and followed Paiden down into the kitchen.

Amber wrapped her mother up in a white cloth. She was barely able to see her through the tears, but she knew it had to be done. She leaned her carefully wrapped mother against the wall and looked at the blood; she decided to scrub it off later, after they had buried Nora.
When Stephen came back, Amber looked up at him and wiped her tears away - again. She rarely cried, and she had never let anyone see her like this before. She felt so weak and useless.
She stuttered out a few words, "Can... Can you help.. ?.. I need to take her to the.. the.. So.. So I can bury her.."
Her sentences didn't make much sense, but she couldn't think straight enough to correct them.

(AW. JUDY.)

Alexander walked straight past Damian and went straight for the refrigerator, grabbing himself a beer. He sat at the table and grinned at Damian. "Well, well, well, if it isn't the little alley nerd. I haven't seen you since I turned you." His words were cheerful, but they were not the kindest. "How did you get here? Tara?"

---

Melody smirked as she texted: I'm in.
She pulled off her heels, throwing them across the floor of the motel room. She fell onto the large bed and sighed happily.

As he passed the threshold he showed his neck in submission to Caleb. He held his tounge until addressed. He looked to the desk in complete subservience.

(TV, duh XD)
Damian looked up at Alex, fear stricken. Surprisingly, he didn't hold a deep grudge against Alex for turning him into a werewolf, that wasn't something like him. But he was still pretty upset that his life got turned upside down. "Uh yeah.. Tara brought me here." He said quietly, staring at the table, avoiding eye contact with the guy. "Also.. I'm not a nerd." He stated, taking offense, even if he was an avid reader.

--

Through Amber's petrified stuttering, Stephen understood what she was trying to say. "Yeah, I'll help.. I can't leave your mom like this, after all she was one of the few people who inspire me. It's the least I could do." he said with respect.

Caleb walked over to his desk and took a seat in his luxurious leather chair. He folded his hands and glanced up at Eaton, his eyes widening in interest.
"It seems that you've come back.. With your task completed?" He glared, with a dark tone to his voice
