Before the morning meal started, Caleb got up from his seat.
"I have some news for all of you." He began, gaining everyone's attention from those seated at the table.
"We are now apart of the organization Remnants of the Nexus. And in return for our help, I will be one of their newest co-leader." Caleb continued, "So I expect you all to to treat the leader and her two co-leaders with the up-most respect." He said, motioning his hand to where Eliza and Nolan sat. (And Thorn?)

A scowl formed on Tate's face from the news, Great, now I have to get on their good side.. He slouched in his seat as he crossed his arms.

Eliza noticed Tate's attitude as it clearly shown upon his face. She smiled softly from under her wrapped half mask, How very like of a rebellious teenage boy, whom also has the eyes of an alpha.

Eliza noticed Tate's attitude as it clearly shown upon his face. She smiled softly from under her wrapped half mask, How very like of a rebellious teenage boy, whom also has the eyes of an alpha.

Thorn look dispassionately at the Arnou pack gathered around the table. Mentally noting all possible threats and trouble makers to a smooth transition into this alliance/merger.

Eaton was shocked by the news. He honestly never expected Caleb to play second fiddle to anyone. But that just showed exactly how powerful this organization must be. He stole glances at Eliza and company. He then looked to his pack. He'd debated about coming to eat after what had happened, but had sided with not evoking Caleb's anger any further. Expecially since he'd made it mandatory.

Damian's eyes slightly widened, I knew it wasn't a curse.. he thought, staring at Alex.
"What is it then?" He asked eagerly.

Judith chuckled softly, "Let's just say I spent an interesting day with Alex Conall" she smiled.

Stephen went over to his uncle, seeing that he was still somewhat hung over and had to take him home so he could rest. He glanced over at Amber, sitting by herself. He sighed, feeling bad for her since her mother was now gone. His uncle slapped him on the shoulder, "Come on boy, take me home" he laughed dryly and headed outside.

(*evil grin*)

"I'm not exactly sure," Alex replied. "But, it's something to do with being chosen for something..."
Suddenly, Alexander's phone rang. He glanced at it, before quickly answering it. "Hi? Yep... Okay... Twenty minutes and I'll be there."
He hung up the phone and looked over at Damian. "Look, I've got to go. But, I'll be back later. So, stay here. Or, if you have to go out anywhere, take Tara with you; she's got my phone number."
He grabbed his jacket and his cigarettes, before heading to the door. He stopped, pausing as he unlocked it. "By the way, I am sincerely sorry for calling you a mistake." He gave a quick smile before opening the door and disappearing down the hallway.
Tara entered Alex's office, surprised, and walked over to Damian. "You okay?"

Freya raised her eyebrows, before covering her open mouth with her hands. She looked over at Judith, "Any details?" She chuckled.

Amber gave Stephen's uncle a quick wave as he shuffled out of the door. She glanced at Stephen, giving him a short thankful smile. She stood up and decided to head to bed.
At that moment, Ash burst in, knocking into Amber. "Amber! Something is wrong. The guy. He. He is-"

"I'm not exactly sure," Alex replied. "But, it's something to do with being chosen for something..."
Suddenly, Alexander's phone rang. He glanced at it, before quickly answering it. "Hi? Yep... Okay... Twenty minutes and I'll be there."
He hung up the phone and looked over at Damian. "Look, I've got to go. But, I'll be back later. So, stay here. Or, if you have to go out anywhere, take Tara with you; she's got my phone number."
He grabbed his jacket and his cigarettes, before heading to the door. He stopped, pausing as he unlocked it. "By the way, I am sincerely sorry for calling you a mistake." He gave a quick smile before opening the door and disappearing down the hallway.
Tara entered Alex's office, surprised, and walked over to Damian. "You okay?"

Freya raised her eyebrows, before covering her open mouth with her hands. She looked over at Judith, "Any details?" She chuckled.

Damian slightly waved as Alex left him in the room. He stood blankly, "Uh, yeah." he nodded to Tara. Even though he didn't get his question answered, he was pretty grateful for Alex's apology.

Judith stared at her, "Not like That" she said, noticing Freya's facial expression and waving her finger at her. "First, he offered me an alliance between our packs; Next I saw him chatting with a celestial, which I have never seen before. Then they caught me spying on them..." She laughed. "But the celestial was quite friendly and asked me to join them. He then shared with us some news about an tragic event that happened to his home and something bad was going to happen, so we had to seek out an Oracle." She went on, catching her breath so she could speak again. "The celestial then disappeared, leaving me and Alex to figure out what an Oracle is. We eventually went to a place that I knew of that had information about all of the supernatural creatures. Then Alex came up with a brilliant idea to burn a paper with no writing on it whatsoever. But it was my stupidity that I thought he shouldn't burn it and it could be important. He burned it and nothing happened, until the celestial came back and the Oracle appeared. But she ended up not being able to answer our questions and just told us about the 'Chosen'. So I let her free since she couldn't tell us anything else." she finalized, not saying further.

Stephen waved at Amber before he left and chased after his uncle. He helped him into the passenger side of his truck and went around the front, getting into the drivers side. His uncle gave him the keys and turned on the ignition. From there, Stephen started to drive to his uncles apartment building in the downtown area of the city.

Thorn registered Nolan's slight movements with his peripheral vision. He diverted his attention to Eliza.

Eaton slowly reached for his glass of water and took a long draw on it. He then set it down again, as he looked discreetly towards the head of the table at Caleb. Then chanced a glance in Eliza direction. He wondered abut this new organization. He'd heard references to what a Nexus was.

Thorn registered Nolan's slight movements with his peripheral vision. He diverted his attention to Eliza.

Eaton slowly reached for his glass of water and took a long draw on it. He then set it down again, as he looked discreetly towards the head of the table at Caleb. Then chanced a glance in Eliza direction. He wondered abut this new organization. He'd heard references to what a Nexus was.

Eliza got out of her seat and skipped over to Caleb, whispering something into his ear. He leaned down a bit due to her short height and gave a short nod to her words. After she was done, she skipped away towards the exit, expecting Thorn and Nolan to follow.

Nolan had already gotten out of his seat when she was speaking to Caleb. When she was on the move, he began to follow after her.

Tate shrugged, Probably have something better to do.

Caleb, ignoring the fact that they were leaving just paid attention to feasting upon the human flesh laid out all over the table before him. "You can all start to eat" he said huskily, giving them the permission to eat. After those words, he half transformed and began to feast, wolfing down and tearing into the flesh with his fangs.

Eliza got out of her seat and skipped over to Caleb, whispering something into his ear. He leaned down a bit due to her short height and gave a short nod to her words. After she was done, she skipped away towards the exit, expecting Thorn and Nolan to follow.

Thorn fell into formation behind Eliza and Nolan. Then shut the door silently behind them.

Eaton reached forward and got a dismembered arm an partially transformed to bite chunks from it and devoured them eagerly. He'd was ravenous from his blood loss.

Freya listened carefully to Judith. "An alliance? And a celestial? And an oracle? And... the chosen? Wow... You had a really adventurous day."
She was quiet, thinking about Judith's story. Then, she smiled, smugly. "Are you suuurrrreeee nothing happened between you and Alex~?"

Amber watched Stephen leave, then sat down with Ash. "What guy? ... Wait, you mean the guy that tortured you?" She whispered in a low voice.
Ash nodded frantically. "Yeah, that one.. He... He's IMMORTAL!"
Amber hushed Ash. "What do you mean by immortal? Werewolves can't be immortal."
"This one was," Ash hastily replied. "I stabbed him, straight through the heart, with a silver blade. There is no way a normal werewolf could survive that."
Amber scrunched up her face. "And you're sure he was a werewolf?"
"Absolutely certain." Ash confirmed. "Also, after I stabbed him, he bled like normal... but then he started glowing.. And then he was fine. He got up and ran off, like nothing had even happened."
Amber stared wide-eyed. "But.. How?"
Ash shrugged. "I don't know.. But we better find out..."
Amber nodded.
"Where's Nora?" Ash asked, looking around.
Amber froze.
