~°~ The Unsafe World - A Werewolf Role Play ~°~

Ronan walked through the city and tried not to draw attention to herself from the humans, especially the hunter variety.

Eaton slowed down in his feasting and looked at the carnage. He became disgusted with himself. He looked around the table at his fellow pack mates. What had shifted within him.what had happened to him. He scratched his shoulder, growing hypersensitive of his marks presence. Like the old tale, "The Tell-Tale Heart " the more you tried to hide something, the more you drew attention to it. Catching himself in the act, he forced his hand away. He looked around again discreetly, becaming suspicious that others might already know about this mark and what it ment to their kind.

Alex waited on the bench for almost an hour before he decided to leave. He scratched his head and got to his feet. "I can't believe I was stood up.. by my ex," he mumbled to himself with a heavy tone of displeasure. He felt like a fool. As he began to leave, something red caught his eye. He glanced towards it, immediately recognising it as Melody. His jaw dropped. "Wow," he thought, noting her dress and her careful styled hair. Her eyes also noticed him; she shot him a quick wave, before walking over. "Hi Alex," she giggled. "Sorry that I'm late." Alex gave her a quick hug. "It's all right. By the way.. you look amazing." She smiled a little. "Thank you - you don't look too bad yourself," She joked. Alex smiled nervously. "So.. Uh.. Where would you like to go?" Melody thought about it for a second before giving Alex her reply, "How about the location of our first date?" Alex looked sceptical. So Melody continued, trying not to ruin the positive mood, "Just as friends though. Okay?" Alex cleared his throat, "Of course. Just friends." Melody smiled and took the lead.

(I wonder what will happen. XD XD)

(Quick question: does the way I've wrote the conversation look better in the quote (above) or in my reply (below)? Because, I don't know... Also, Stachey, you're going to hate this. *evil laugh*)

Alex followed after Melody with his hands in his pockets. He honestly couldn't deny that he was happy to see her, especially after the last time they had seen each other..

Alexander sat in the restaurant, waiting for Melody. It was fairly dim, but he knew he could pick Melody out of a crowd, no matter how dark it was. He checked his watch nervously, shaking his legs. He looked in his pocket, pulling out a ring case. Inside was a beautiful engagement ring, encrusted with exactly 21 diamonds; 21 being Melody's lucky number. He closed the case and tucked it back into his pocket, smiling uncontrollably. He had waited for this moment for weeks. As he tried to settle himself a little, Melody walked into the restaurant. She was wearing a long blue dress, and her hair was in a beautiful bun. Alex felt his heart skip a beat as she waved at him and walked over to their table.
"Hi," Alex greeted her with a large smile.
"Hey," she smiled, sitting down and allowing Alex to push her in a little.
Alex returned to his seat, "You look so beautiful."
Melody smiled, "Thank you. You look amazing too; suit and all."
Alex chuckled a little, "Thanks."
The waiter came over and handed them a menu. Alex looked up at Melody, looking over the menu, "Order whatever you want."
Melody gave him little laugh, "As you wish."
After they'd ordered, they sent the waiter off with their menus.
"So," Melody said, lacing her fingers together. "What's this all about?"
"Well," Alex replied, taking her hands in her own. "I-" His attention was grabbed by three men sitting at a table, in the corner of the restaurant, looking at him with disgust. Alex knew they were all werewolves, he could smell them - but he knew Melody, who was a human, couldn't. He felt an enormous amount of guilt hit him; he couldn't bring a human into his mess of a life - even dating her was putting her in danger. He let go of her hands and sat back, hovering his hand over the ring case in his pocket. He sighed, putting both his hands on the table and looking up at Melody. "I think.. that we'd be better off seeing other people."
Melody scrunched her face up, tears falling down her cheeks. She wanted to protest, but she was so shocked that she couldn't even speak. She got up and ran out the door, furiously trying to wipe the tears away.
Alex stood up, glanced at the men in the corner, and then left the restaurant. By the time he had gotten home, all of Melody's things had gone.
All that was left was a note:
'Dear Alex,
I'm sorry for the trouble I caused.
I hope you find the perfect person, one day.
- Melody.'
Alex collapsed in a fit of rage, his eyes watered and he completely fell apart. "I'm sorry, Melody. I'm really sorry. I just wanted to protect you."

He snapped out of his flashback, gritting his teeth a little.
"Alex!" Melody scowled. "Are you even listening to me?"
"Yeah," Alex replied. "Sorry, I just-"
"Nevermind," Melody laughed. "We're nearly there."
Alex smiled, following after her.

Judith smiled a little, glad that she wasn't being serious. She put her finger on her chin and thought, "Well, to tell you the truth, I was just honestly going to stay here in the hideout all day. I have no where to be at the moment." She responded, "I mean, just look at what I'm wearing, I wouldn't go out in public wearing my lazy clothes." She laughed.

"Uhm.. Okay" Damian replied, wondering what Tara had in mind since she didn't leave him much to work with. He left the office and closed the door quietly behind him. He headed into his room and took off his ripped shirt and dusty pants–throwing them onto his bed. He put on a white long-sleeved button up shirt and a pullover gray cotton sweater. Then pulled on his black skinny jeans. Damian gazed into his mirror, fixing any flaws in his outfit, such as pulling the collar over his sweater, and having the bottom of his shirt peek out from under the sweater. After he was done, he put on some fresh socks and his sneakers then left his room.

Freya nodded. "How about I go get some lazy clothes on, then we can binge watch a bunch of movies or TV series?" She suggested. "I can't really go out with this mark on my face..."

---

Tara threw on a pair of flared jeans and a blue shirt with a picture of a bunny on. She took a quick look at herself in the mirror, before grabbing her bag and heading to the kitchen.

Once both of the twins, Peter and Paiden, had gotten dressed, they headed out the front door. "So," Paiden started on his way out, "did you hear about the alliance?"
Peter scrunched up his face, "No. What alliance?"
"The alliance between our pack and Maccon," Paiden replied.
"No way," Peter said, stopping in his tracks, looking at Paiden.
Paiden chuckled, "Yep, apparently we're all supposed to be friends now."
Peter continued to walk, scratching his face. "Reckon Judith told her pack?"
"No," Paiden laughed, "because Alex barely told any of us."
"Does the alliance mean we share territories?" Peter questioned.
Paiden shrugged. "No clue."
Peter let a grin grow on his face, "Why don't we find out?"
Paiden grinned, "Sure."
The two set off, down the well-lit road. They passed stores, alleyways, and plenty of homes, before finally reaching the border between Conall territory and Maccon territory. They crossed over and dissapeared into the city.
