"Your daugh-You have a daughter?" Aya asked worriedly. "We should probably find her. Do you want me to help you look?" Aya glanced around at the ice, "We certainly have time."
Madeleine shook her head slowly. "Oui, oui. But she's un bébé. The chances that she could be found are petit." Madeleine wasn't being an ignorant mother here. She was desperately worried now about her child, but chances of finding her were slim, and if they did, would she even be alive? And besides her daughter, what about the rest of her family? Aya's brother was here, but what about the other blocks of ice? Who, or what, were contained in those?

Dierk went wide eyed when she demanded to know where a man named Paxton was. Then, a surge of guilt fell over him. Years of people shouting at him, demanding to know where their child or husband was, him being unable to answer; it was all burned into his brain forever. He worried that this girl wanted the same thing, something he couldn't give back.

"I...I don't know a man named Paxton. I'm sorry." Dierk told her, sounding sincere with apology. He hoped she wouldn't suddenly point to him as guilty.

Jade slowly brushed her fingers through her hair as a nervous habit before turning to walk away. She didn't know the man, and couldn't expect him to know where her fiance was. She had to find Paxton herself.

Aya couldn't think of anything but how sorry she felt for Madeleine. Losing your baby? That would have to be horrific. If the baby was left behind, was she still back in the past or was she actually left for dead by whoever did this cruel thing to them all?

Dierk gently grabbed Jade's shoulder to turn her back around, wishing to help her.
"You will not be able to find anyone here by yourself. I want to do some good, could I help you look for this man?"

Madeleine changed her direction slightly, scanning the frozen horizon and around for signs of movement. "Let's check over there," she said, nodding towards the other bodies of ice.

"Alright." Aya agreed and approached all of the preserved humans, some of them already obviously dead like a chick who gave up on breaking their shell and some whom she wasn't sure about yet.

Jade looked into his eyes before nodding her consent. She couldn't stand here, not a moment longer. She had to explore the white land that surrounded her from every direction until Paxton was found.

"Have you searched over there yet, where you started?" Dierk asked her, motioning to where Jade was stuck in the ice, that had a few people still frozen. Though, it did appear that some had left already, long gone, which was rather unsettling to him.

Jade turned to see what the man was speaking of. She felt stupid for not looking there first, but to be honest she didn't remembered seeing those blocka of ice until the man pointed them out to her. "Yes, of course." She replied, hesitantly moving closer to the the frozen people.
