*°Hell as White as Snow°* (A Role Play)

Madeleine watched intently as the equally frozen woman neared. The relief she felt when she heard the woman's voice, real and clear, was overwhelming. If they were the only two alive, at least they could keep each other company. "Uh, no," Madeleine answered with a small shake of the head. "I have no idea. This place, it's so strange."

"We need...We need to find something to protect ourselves and these people. A shelter somewhere." Aya looked around rather hopelessly, "Well...If they wake up."

( I thought everyone who was frozen was pretty close to each other. RW, correct me if I'm wrong. Just wondering.)

(They're all frozen  How's Madeleine to know if they're dead or alive.)

"How long have you been—" Madeleine paused to consider her wording, "—conscious?" She asked, glancing around for movement from others.

(Mister I Got Dis is over at some cave with a fire, if I read correctly, so they could always go join him)

(I know that, but I was JUST WONDERIN'.)

"I am not really sure..." Aya said with a frown. "It seems like hours, but that's not really uncommon. Especially in conditions like these."

(Yeah. We could go join Mr. Makes Fire Out of Frozen Sticks with Nothing Else.)

(Welp now you know XD)

"Yes, extreme weather has a funny way of distorting time," Madeleine agreed. Wrapping her arms around herself, she rubbed quickly to increase circulation of heat. Still, cold. "Should we walk?" She suggested.

(Sureee)

"Yes, I suppose that's all we can do. Plus, it will get our blood flowing a little more." Aya agreed. "Hopefully we can find a place to rest, and bring others." She shuddered, and hugged herself tightly.

Jade awoke, the realization that she was frozen within a block of ice slowly being understood. The ice was weak, but now that she was awake the bitter air contained in the ice filled her lungs like poison gas. She gasped relentlessly for fresh air to purifying her dying lungs. Both her legs and arms were kept unmoving by the heaviness of the ice, but she realized in desperation that the ice surrounding her head was thawing. She rocked her head back in forth, the motion slamming her forehead against the packed ice, until the ice gave in, collapsing around her body. She gasped, eager for fresh air to fill her as she lay motionless on the white ground.

(Want me to RP with you?)

Madeleine nodded her agreement, too cold at the moment for words. She looked around them once more before beginning walking.

Aya walked beside Madeleine, shivering and vigorously rubbing her arms up and down for warmth.
"So," She began with chattering teeth, "What do you remember last, before you were here?"

Madeleine started to reply, but stopped, lips parted. She narrowed her eyes slightly as she thought, searching for the freshest memory from before whatever this was. Worry lined her face as she sought harder, to no avail. She couldn't remember. "I-I don't know," she stammered. "I don't remember. Lord, I can hardly recall my own name." She knew her name now, but if she had been asked a minute ago it may have been otherwise. "I'm sure it will come to me. Probably still a little woozy from that ice nap." She laughed nervously as she told herself what she had just said aloud. "Uh, what about you?"

"I can hardly remember a thing, either." Aya admitted nervously as she thought, trying to drag out anything besides her brother from her brain, who she remembered like he was trying to kill her yesterday.
"Once we get some real rest and warm up I'm sure it will be different though. But, maybe dragging our memories with us will only hurt us in the long run."
