Dierk, due to his personal opinions, found that unlikely. Unless the young men in there had no motivation, but he didn't comment. He was much more opinionated in his home, Germany, but here he just wanted to get along and live.

"That seems cruel for them to do that to a young woman. I do not know you, but I have so far not experienced any reason why they would want you gone." Dierk commented sincerely, but his expression was still blank.
"And so yesterday, when you were so desperate to find a man you weren't sure was here, that was...Uh...Pexten?" He struggled to say the rather strange name with his accent, "Hopefully once we figure out this situation, you shall be able to go back home and find that man there, waiting for you like a gentleman should."

"Thanks, but I think it was mostly my step mother who didn't want me." Jade admitted quietly. "I'm sure that wherever Paxton is that he is looking for me just as I am looking for him."

"I used to have a wife." Dierk mentioned casually. "She was an amazing woman, nobody could ever replace her in my life. If you truly love that man, and he can support you, then I'm sure you will never regret marrying him. Love is not perfect, and isn't always fun, but it does not fail either if the feeling is honest."

Janette jerked her head towards Madeleine, who hadn't yet made it known she was awake. "One of us can stay. The other can head out to the ice blocks with whoever else wants to go," she suggested.

"Sounds like a solid plan. I am going to go get cleaned up outside, by the way we brought some toilet paper back yesterday with the supplies in case anyone else has standards when it comes to going to the bathroom. We can head out afterwards, give us plenty of time to get there and back before dark." Nora said as she went outside the cave a ways to take care of her business. She then used the snow to clean her hands a bit and then just stood and took a deep breath of the cold air. It sure woke her up fast, she thought. She headed back into the cave to wake up Gjoran to let him know what the plan was.

As Nora walked into the cave she saw Gjoran leaning against the wall of the cave. She smiled and gave him a nod as she headed over and filled him in on the plan. "I'm going to take Ian and Nigel with me back to those houses to get more supplies in a little while. And Janette had a plan to go check on the people still frozen in the ice. Any requests while we are out for things you'd like? Or I guess suggestions?" She asked curiously.

He silently thought about becoming a maverick, he had preferred two or three people to all these. Confusion and problems could arise more easily now.

She nodded to him but she was concerned he seemed unhappy. She reached out and touched his shoulder and gave it squeeze. "We will, and everything is going to be ok. Just remember all this started with you and me, were friends alright. And no matter what or who comes I am still here for you." Nora gave him a friendly smile as she pulled her hand back.
