Snake crept up to the field where they'd last seen the herd of elk, she growled softly as she saw some still there, heading to where they'd sleep. She crouched down behind some tall grasses, waiting, waiting for the time to strike.
The does all shuffled to a safe place, the two lookout bucks lingering for a short while to watch their backs. One by one, they all left, all but one. She lept out from behind and sprinted toward the buck, broadsiding it's limbs. "Falcon!" she called, "Get the other side!" The buck stumbled and wobbled.
Snake also bit into it, and it gave in, laying flat with legs sprawled out; the deed was done. "Thanks for helping." Snake said to Falcon, "You get first taste."
