Bear caught, from the corner of his eye, Rabbit's tail flickering from behind some tall grasses and crept up behind it, he snarled loudly as he noticed it was suspiciously close to the newborn pups. "Leave." He hissed as he took a step forth, claws wrenched into the soil benath him.

Rabbit snarls. "Watch it, big guys," she growls through gritted fangs as she moves closer to the nest, poking a furry gray paw into it while keeping her eyes on Gaur and Bear. "Wouldn't want to have to tattle to Mommy, would we?"

Sandpiper can now see Gaur and Rabbit. There is another wolf there, too, she just can't see him. She has seen Gaur before and knows he is a member of Snow Pack now, but Rabbit is new. She can tell that she must be a Loner, or something. And as far as she can tell, that wolf is trying to swipe one or more of Dove's pups. Swiftly she moves, biting Rabbit severely in the upper thigh. Rabbit cries out in pain as blood begins to trickle from it, but narrows her eyes and moves towards Sandpiper, long teeth bared. Sandpiper uses her small size to reach in and secure a bite on Rabbit's ankle. The P.S.O. wolf rolls her eyes in pain and jerks her paw away, snapping at the brown wolf's throat.

Dove can hear the commotion and leaves her kill behind, running as fast as she can towards the sound. She can hear her pups, in distress. Something must be done.

Bear rolled Rabbit onto her back and clenched his claws tightly around her arms, "I said leave!" He shouted in a loud and booming voice, as he wrinkled his snout and showed his fangs.

Rabbit's eyes gleam with anger. "Take that without cringing!" she breathes as she lunges for his exposed throat. Dove, her run taking her straight towards Rabbit, leaps on top of the thief before she gets to his throat, leaving Dove's leg in the exact place where Bear's neck had been. She whines and collapses in pain, licking her bitten leg.
