She sat down on the border and howled

Swan shuddered as a Bear suddenly ran by her, a wolf running from it with a limp in her gait. She felt ambivalence; she wanted to help, but she alone was powerless against a Bear. She howled for help from the pack, and both Bear and Snake shuffled out from their dens and looked for Swan.

Falcon cut off in mid-howl when she heard Swan, she growled quietly and started running towards Swan

 

[Dutchgirl]

Sandpiper lifted her head and whimpered. Dove narrowed her eyes and walked slowly over to Swan to see what was wrong. Squirrel curiously followed his mother.

Swan and Snake sharply barked at the bear as it roared back, and both of the wolves threatened it with fangs. When Falcon and Bear came along, the bear realized that it was outnumbered, and ran. Left on the ground was a cowering she-wolf, who was clearly quite young still.

Falcon growled suspisiously at the she-wolf, wondering whether or not she could be trusted

 

[Dutchgirl]

Dove stepped forward towards the she-wolf, following her mothering instincts. Squirrel stayed at his mother's legs. Sandpiper cowered and shuffled closer to Falcon.

"Be careful" She warned Dove

The she-wolf looked up at Dove with innocent eyes that were silver as a pond in moonlight.
