"Thanks, miss," said the young he-wolf, pulling a small chunk from the elk, "What's your name, anyway?" he asked after he swallowed. His very long, bushy black tail tipped with starkly contrasted white whisked across the ground behind him.

Osprey had a tin can in her mouth, one that had been discarded by a human campsite nearby hat Osprey happened upon whilst looking for medicinal plants. She jogged to the river and filled the can to the brim before carefully walking back to Snowpack and entering the dank medicine den, and pouring half of the contents over Lion's wounds and the other half over Eeve's. When both were cleansed, she coated a paste of Poppy, and Comfrey over Eeve's leg and Lion's many gashes.

"Raccoon," he answered, his endearing, thoughtful chocolate brown eyes smiling.

"Welcome to SnowPack" She replied, her own icy blue eyes looking into his brown ones "Where ya from?"

She says it's for my own good," he said, cringing briefly.

Eeve winced as the paste came in contact with her wound, then settled down. "Thanks," She muttered before falling asleep.

Lion smiled at Osprey painfully. "Thank you," he said in his deep, quiet voice. His eyes closed and he lowered his head, ready for a much-needed sleep.

Sandpiper frowned at Bee and crept away from Robin. Squirrel, noticing her discomfort, butted in and immediately began rapid-fire conversation: "So Bee, where's Gerbil? I haven't seen her in a while, have you? I mean, is she okay? Hey, did you meet that new pup? His name's Raccoon." He stopped for a breath and watched Bee with interest.
