Sandpiper had taken all her dead elk to the food pit and was now munching on the haunch of one. She let out a howl to let everyone know it was there, and then dashed quickly into the bushes to hide herself. The only wolf she wanted to see her right now was Kouprey. * Crane bounded thrugh the woods, chasing a small deer. AT last she caught up and leaped onto it's back, breaking it. Then she ripped it's throat out. She began dragging it back to camp. When she arrived she respectfully laid it just outside the leader's den, hoping that he would smell it and wake up or that when he did wake up it would be a good first impression for her so that she would be able to be a member of the pack *
