Ѿ ◄ Is this REALLY a Buff Orpington??? ᴽᴥᴽ

OK, not to undermine anybody, but that is a Buff Orpington. There are different shades, I had a roo that was darker than that and then I knew somebody who had a hen that exact color.

Ugh... So confusing... So, this dang near stark white bird could be a Buff Orp?

This is the lightest buff I could find a picture of, and it's lighter than that.

Anyone else know of Buffs that can be as light as mine?

You're joking right?? That bird has yellow legs and a yellow beak which indicates it is NOT a buff Orpington. Buff Orpingtons as well as White Orpingtons have WHITE legs.

I have buff orpington pullets, they're about 4 weeks now.
here's some pictures of mine. Hope this helps.

is he white or tinted? If he is tinted then he may be a sex link cockeral......if he is white I am sticking to a white rock....

Well.. White rock isn't so bad I guess.. Rather frustrating though when you're out to have a certain kind, are told for sure that that is indeed what it is and then finding out it's not...
