A low growl errupted from the bushes as a coal black he-wolf exploded from the bushes, leaping into the fray and into Jacob. The collision knocked him away from Qamar and onto the ground a few paces away. The mysterious black he-wolf stood over Jacob with cold, black eyes.
Jacob shot up from the ground pinning the other wolf to the ground growling.
The coal black wolf rolled suddenly to the side, unbalancing Jacob long enough for him to wriggle out, slippery as a snake. Once free he turned on a dime and lunged forward at Jacobs paw, grabbing hold in his jaws and shaking it viciously from side to side.
