We’ve tried everything, but the paper towels. I clean them out 4 times a day. I’ll try that, thanks!Welcome back.
You might want to put some paper towels down under/around the feeder to try to keep the shavings out.
I can't tell if you have it, the feeder, raised up or not. If not putting it up a little higher...on a plate or something might help too. We’ve tried everything, but the paper towels. I clean them out 4 times a day. I’ll try that, thanks!
Welcome back into BYC!!Hi all! 6 years ago we got our first group, of supposedly sexed chicks… 6 of 7 were Roos… we rehomed 5, kept a beautiful giant black australop… until he tried to attack a Christmas tree customer!
We’ve added on and off, lost a few to nature. A month ago, a mink found its way in our coop, slaughtered 6 of my 15. We have 2 barred rock, 2 RIR, 1 isa brown, one Australop, one jersey and a seabright bantam
We’ve since added 6 bantams, 2 buff Orpington, 3 barred rock, and 2lol
We own a Christmas Tree farm our flock free ranges on. We’ve 4 dogs and 4 cats as well.
