Fang woke up from the canyon they were on, filled with grass. "I am glad Shira and Sage are not near. " he smiled.

Kate listened to their conversation. Then, taking the rabbit by the ears, she dropped it in front of Sage's den. She walked briskly away, sniffing the air for other prey.

Kate got scent of another rabbit. This one was easier to catch: one of it's hind legs was injured. She sat down, rabbit in hand, ready to eat, but lost her appetite.
