I read it! I think you're saying that fish don't have sentience and emotion in the same way as other animals. I disagree, but respect you're opinion so I'll just leave the thread because I only like very weird pets.

First, I love Arrowannas.

Second, I think it's because fish aren't very mobile. The role-play is about pets becoming free, and as a fish, it'd be hard to do so.
