~◊~Thereby Hangs a Tail – RP~◊~

(Actually, real wolf packs can have as few as 2 members. The typical pack range is between 2-15, but a pack can rarely have as many as 30 members. (Yes, I did research!))

Cloud looked from one Alpha to the other, her tail moving lower. Maybe she had made a mistake.

(Okay, okay, I admit that's cool. But for the purpose of the RP, big packs. ;) )

Ripple walked into his and Echos den with a fish, he set it down and laid next to her.

Stone sat beside his mate, waiting for the alphas decision

By the way Stone and then where acting she assumed these were the top dogs. She lowered herself a little wanting a home desperately. She didn't exactly know submission postures having never been in a pack.

"I'm Aurora, and these are my Pups Lynx and Silver. "

" who are the new wolves mama? " Lynx said.
" hush. Show respect Lynx" Aurora said coffins his ear slightly.

(It's just natural body language. :) )

Bracken sniffed the air. Definitely loners. Mirage was giving him one of her "stern mother" looks. It didn't help that Wisp had just arrived from a hunt with a skinny grouse in her mouth, and at the sight of the pups bounded over, tail wagging.

"Who are these?" she asked cheerfully. Mirage gave him a "You wouldn't leave Wisp out alone in the world, would you?" look.

"Newcomers," Mirage explained to their daughter, "They want to join the pack."

Wisp cocked her head, "Really? Can they?"

That one's just a pup, really. Bracken exchanged a look with Mirage. I don't have a choice here, do I? Hungry mouths, you two, remember? "Yes, they can."

Cloud's head raised a little. She was relived that she hadn't made a bad decision.

Aurora lowered her head. " Thank you."

Lynx looked around. "Are there anymore Pups here?"

"You're welcome," said the Alphas. Bracken only slightly resigned, Mirage pleasant.

Wisp nodded, cutting in, "Yeah, over there."

Mirage got close to Aurora, tail wagging, and whispered, "The nursery has a low floor. They won't be able to get out on their own until their bigger."
