Augustus sniffed the air, his orange eyes scanning the undergrowth. 

Emma let go of the arrow. It landed perfectly in the squirrel's chest, killing it instantly.

Joe stared at her in disbelief, then pointed to his feet, where the wood he had gotten was.

Caroline bounded quickly on, taking in the scents of the forest.
