Cole started to work on his plate, using the smallest amount of clay he could.

Mark glanced to her as she stretched, enjoying the view a moment before reaching to pick up a bundle of the grass and separate the pieces so he could start weaving them together

Ari glanced to him and smiled "Remember, this is clay, thinner is more brittle when it's fired. If we could make porcelain, we could get some really thin and strong plates." She said, adding the last part a bit wistfully, since it wouldn't be possible given their circumstances.
