The first cub was almost out, it was a light blonde with little gold smudges on its legs.

Leyona helped pull the first cub out. The nshe waited for the next, splashing more water on Doli's head.

The first mewled, his little eyes closed and his fur wet, barely able to keep his head up. Doli bared down, the next cub coming on its way.

Once Leyona could see te feet, she pulled on it.

The second cub was out and purring, it was similar looking to the first cub, aside from the dark gold patch over its right eye. The last cub was almost out.

Leyona, breathing hard from all the pulling, went back again to pull the last cub out.

The last cub was a strawberry gold all over, with little gold flecks spread across its face and legs. Doli heaved a sigh of relief and began to groom her new cubs, who all began to nurse and mewl.
