One of the females turned back "Oh yeah? Come and get us then" She taunted, walking away again

"How thick do you think we are?" he snarled. "Next time you bring your fleabitten hides into our pride, don't expect us to be happy about it." Khairi let out a threatening, ear-splitting roar that would send shivers down any lions spine, turned around, and headed back towards StormPride.

"Thank you," Desta murmured, weakly smiling out of politeness and limping onward. Zuri grinned and dipped her head, "Thank you." Desta tiredly extended her neck toward water, lapping it up like she'd not drank in days.
