"Alright. It looks like a good one also. But who knows, my parents are rather picky when it comes to joining a pride. I shall tell them about it when I see them again. Is it alright if we sort-of, hang around here for a little while? We won't cause trouble, and mother and I can always help you with hunting." She looked at him with eager eyes.
"Sounds like a good deal to me; but like you said, you would have to help our pride with hunting and protecting when needed," he added.
"Alright, we don't have a problem with that. I just need to speak with my parents first and we should be good to go."
As if on cue, Leyona's parents arrived at her side, along with two rambunctious cubs. "Leyona, who are you speaking to?" Her mother Imani asked. "This is the pride leader of Stormpride." Leyona replied. "Oh, hello," "Khairi." "Oh, hello Khairi." Imani said politely. "This is my mother." Leyona said, motioning to her. They looked the same, each as beautiful as the other. "And this is my father, Kibwe." Kibwe nodded too Khairi. "Darling we must really get going, we have to go get something to eat for your siblngs." Imani said, looking at her daughter. "Alright mother. Goodbye, Khairi." She turned back with her parents and walked away. They ran back, playfully pushing each other along the way. Leyona looked back at Khairi one last time, and flashed her mysterious, and enchanting smile at him before turning and running.
