Lali snapped his head up and bit Khairi in the face before rolling away "Roxi is coming with me, whether you like it or not"
"You can't decide for her; she doesn't even want to be with you," he hissed. Khairi knocked him down just in the right spot to temporarily stun him and knock the wind out of him, the lion tearing a deep, painful gash across Lali's cheek, blood oozing down onto the grass.
Kirobi dropped his meal when he decided he was finished, and lumbered over to the scene, the liger towering over both lions. He narrowed his eyes, his claws extended and ready for battle. He didn't know what the situation between Rozi and Lali was, so he didn't know why they would be attacking Emberpride, but still he was to remain by Khairi's side.

Leyona ambled around, but noticed Khairi and and bounded over to him. "Need any help?" She asked him quietly.
