The yellow on the guts in the second bird looks like fat buildup. Perhaps their diet is a little rich. Often lowering the protein % as they age can help maintain a healthy gut. 10 months is not old even for a quail.

The life span for this color is not long.
So far this is the only one from this col9r/same hatch date group that has had what I'm sure is an infection. I'm not convinced that was just fat.
My birds eat 28% for the first 5 to 6 weeks them get switched to 16%. Zero treats.
