I definitely prefer my holidays one at a time. But, if that’s what lights your fire, have at it. I think you’re the first person I’m aware of that has the tree up before Halloween.

Way, way too much good food awaits to rush to Christmas. Besides, no one wants to rush Santa and end up on the naughty list.

I don't burn my branches, etc. Since I live on a sand dune, I bury the larger branches and run the smaller ones through the wood chipper. It adds much needed organic material to the sand from both below and above the surface.

Yep, we spilled some gas on an asphalt street during a transfer. It was really easy to set the street on fire. It took more of an effort to put the fire out. It kept wanting to relight on its own.
