When you have your own place...nutter.
Fine..
But when I get own place I'm getting goats, ducks, chickens, alpacas, a rabbit or two, and quail. Not all ar once of course, over the course a few years.
Preferably on a big piece of property way out in the country with a little house. I want to save up to get something like that.
Animals are expensive :barnie

When my brother wanted to get a horse and was concerned about the prices for horses, I told him not to worry about it because the purchase price was going to be the cheapest part of having a horse.

Yes, then we can start calling you..... "Becky's Homestead"!

As you have quickly learned, there is nothing "free" about a horse.
Nope! I don't mind though. She's very special to me. I learned to ride on her when I was a kid and she is the mother to my gelding who has been my best buddy for 17 years. We had lots of adventures together, roaming the countryside and woods near the family farm. When her owner passed away I had to take her. Old and lame I didn't want anything to happen to her. I will happily pay the vet bills and $100 shoes every 6 weeks for the occasional ride on that old mare ❤️ Her name is Dell 🥰
