Try to stay up as long as you can. The deer may move a little later than normal. Good luck!Yes I got settled in about 15minutes before legal light but it’s a chilly dreary day so we doubt we will have any luck

There's a woman around here who advertises that she teaches how to process/kill chickens. She charges $80/hour.
I bet! Right now the closest I've got to that is duck eggs now that Hepzibeth has started laying againFresh guinea or turkey eggs are even better for baking.
Those will work too.I bet! Right now the closest I've got to that is duck eggs now that Hepzibeth has started laying again
I keep hoping that’s true but we’ve never had much luck on overcast dreary days (one exception was when I threw a fit to hunt rifle season in hurricane force winds and mr muddy got a small doe as we were walking out)Fortunately for you, the deer don't feel the same about the weather as you do.
We will probably stay here until 10:30-11 like usual and we still need to go to other property for afternoon to check our trail, stands, etc. we haven’t been there since last seasonTry to stay up as long as you can. The deer may move a little later than normal. Good luck!
I dont think they should charge $80, but there are people on YouTube who do the same thing in front of millions of viewers and get paid to do it, so... hmmm...wonder if I could.@Kiki Just different cultures, I guess there is no right or wrong. I am like you, I give away knowledge and hope it is passed forward. Maybe some people just need to find a way to make a living. IDK
When I was much younger I knew we had chickens. We had lots of “chicken” soup, stew, etc. It wasnt until I I was in my late teens that I even found out we also had rabbits and most of said chicken was actually rabbit. Are you kidding me? I guess everyone doesn't have an uncle/mom who grew up butchering chickens though...still that is expensive!!! I did a couple a few weeks ago...we gave one (well mom did she is always giving away stuff) to an elderly lady and the other one still needs ate. Chicken and dumplings.
