So does my family in IL. I was shocked to go to Walmart and find whiskey. Even more shocked to see the drive-thru wine and daiquiri shops. We are a CoMmOnWeAlTH here though. You can only buy spirits from the distillery or the ABC store.

Unless you make your own. Which is also illegal so.....

If i am not mistaken, you are in an area known for the finest shine in the world. Wish i could visit and bring some home. Was up there once and knew someone who knew someone, etc.
Finest whiskey I have had in my 63 years. I think about it with fondness often.
