Duncan looked around if the other seamen had things under control. He wanted to see if there was a pub somewhere on the ship, he hadn't fully explored it and felt for a drink.

"I convinced my aunt to bring me because I have always longed for adventure. Not that I am older I was able to persuade her." Constance beamed, her eyes gleaming adventurously.
Duncan decided just to do some of his duties, then go get a drink. He didn't want to work drunk, but sounded a bit fun for him.
Charlotte nodded. "Ah," was all she said.

Charlotte ignored the fact that he hadn't said 'Lady', even though it was extremely irksome. "Oh, I'm going to visit relatives," she said.
