Luna growled at her. "That's MY job," she snapped at Tawny. Luna raised her head, and howled.

"Now, aren't you snappish today!" She yelped mockingly. She sat patiently by the animal to wait for the rest of Night Pack, but gave in to her hunger and took a bite out of the shoulder.

Luna nipped her rump, and took a bite out of one of the hindquarters.

Tawny growled and snapped the air around Luna's ear, purposefully missing. She bit into the neck one more time and separated a leg from the body. "Rylee," Tawny muttered as she dragged the leg back to her den.

Tawny grumbled under her breath as she padded to the den, a chunky caribou leg clenched in her jaws. She slunk into the den and took a chunk of meat from the leg.
