Wow looks like there will be a bunch of us posting pics to see whos looks like whos LOL Mine haven't changed much yet from the fuzz ball stage.

I also got some from a TSC bin filled with black chicks...it didn't even attempt to tell us what they were! I TOLD THEM they had some BR in there,but I bought 4 that look black with white wing tips,1 that looks all black,and 1 that looks like it has some bronze on the face but the rest is black?

My TSC had BA's and I was sorely tempted. But the sign didn't say pullet or straight run, though they DID look like BA's just who knows what sex, so I figured I would have the bad luck to get straight run and I already hatched out my own straight run chicks! I ended up picking up a few Barred Rocks from the other feed store (who gets theirs from Ideal, pullets only) because for one I like to hatch black sexlinks from them and for two I was more confident in what I was buying.

So far Sunshyne276's mystery chick is still looking girly so that's a plus. I think she's pretty

Thank you! I hope she's truly a pullet. That's the only important thing to me.
I already have some straight run barred rocks, bantams and EEs,
and with my luck they are probably all boys. lol

I have searched and found Shaver Black Commercial. The red and silver colors in TSC stock could be explained by the Parent Stock Shaver's use.
